Aha's "Take On Me." An 80's classic if I've ever seen one (which I have). The thrill of climbing into an exotic graphic novel world to find your loved one. Twisting through halls to escape the dangers at hand. Only to come to and think "where the hell was I and what the hell did I take?" If you haven't seen the original, get a life. Crying Sorority Girl

This is too funny for words. But I'll try and say a few anyways. There are so many things great with this video and yet wrong with this girl. The fact that she doesn't know how a fire extinguisher works is beyond me. You thought ust a "poof" comes out? All you wanted to do was "make snow?" Come on Oklahoma--what do you teach in your school (or rather who do you accept into your school)? And she will do anything to stay in Alpha Chi, even "sweep" is a hilarious kicker. But above all, who is this "sisters for life" best friend that not only filmed her while laughing in her face but then also plastered the video all over the internet. With sisters like that who needs a real family.

Cubee Craft

It's Cubee Craft (not MSTRKRFT--all I do is party ah ah). Fun little site that has all sorts of templates you can print, cut out, and then put together to create "Cubee characters." Arts and crafts fun for all! Pretty wide selection from Barack, to Darth, to Daft. If you got time on your hands I'd say take one for a spin.

YouTube Street Fighter

The kinks haven't all been worked out on this one, but the concept is there, and its a great start. There is a YouTube video that allows you to interact with the actual video--via a Street Fighter game. Sure its just a bunch of clicking, no real skill involved, and the moves are inconsistent at best. But its Street Fighter. And you can interact with it on YouTube. Enough said.

Willard Wigan: Micro Sculptor

Threading a camel through the eye of a needle. Literally. Artist Willard Wigan is a micro sculptor that produces work on and in needles. Really interesting stuff. The patience and meticulous steadfastness is beyond me. I particularly like Henry VIII. Now someone needs to make me a Daft pyramid in a needle...

Miller High Life: 1 Second Ad

So its a new year, and I'm going to try picking this up again. God knows if anyone is reading it anymore but at the very least it will be a nice running chronicle of the things I like.

That being said, Miller has just come out with this new campaign called "1 Second Ad" in which it mocks those companies that pay millions for one 30-second Superbowl spot when they could be paying a fraction of the cost for a 1 second ad. Which is just what Miller High Life created. A series of 1 (ish) second ads. The website shows you them all and I understand that they will be played during the pregame next week. Some of them are pretty funny I think.
